First light on New Year’s Day

I like to visit the beach for sunrise on New Year’s Day and you never know what you may find.

The area was definitely flooded at some point over the evening prior to getting to the park. Low tide was around 5:15am so the water was slowly draining back to the tidal pool when we got there.
