Sunny Isles to Haulover Inlet

This photo was taken from one of the hotels along Collins Avenue looking south. I think I was up around the 14th Floor of this building. The view is from the top of the Sunny Isles fishing pier south to Haulover Inlet. I thought is was amazing to see the shape of the shoreline. Click on the image for a larger view

Afternoon View at the Deering Estates

I was awestruck when I saw this. I stood under the arch enjoying a cool breeze on the veranda during this hot day. All I could think of, was for how many years has this view been here and how lucky I felt to capture it on this day to share. The wood house was first built in 1900, the other stone building was built around 1922.

I found a gator resting along the shore as I walked back to my car. The canal offers a great setting to explore. The Canal runs the length of the Town of Davie.

The South End of Haulover Beach looks like a small cove created by the jetty rocks.
