It was just before dawn and the skies were heavy with storm clouds on the horizon at the Dania Beach Fishing Pier. There is always something fun to photograph at a pier in the early morning as the day begins.

It was about 5:00 am at the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, well before the 6:30 am sunrise on a calm and very cloudy morning. The Lighthouse was beaming with the heavy moisture in the air
