I was visiting a friend in Oregon when we took a drive to see the sights. This photo was taken on the road while driving across Oregon. It was June (2012) and snow was still on the ground. As a native Floridian, I found this quiet curious.

It was an early morning as I walked along the seawalls of Coconut Grove. I looked out into the water and saw the still water of Biscayne Bay as the sun began to rise. There was a slight sheen of gas and oil on a small part of the water and small boat had just come from a sail boat to pick up supplies or perhaps some breakfast. For me, I was just enjoying the colors of the morning in Coconut Grove.

A warm summer day, driving home along the beach. An impulse came over me to try to take a quick photo of this beautiful almost private section of the A1A roadway. I saw no one behind me and no cars coming from the opposite direction. Parked on the street, grabbed my camera – ran to the back of my car and took a few shots.
