The Miami Circle – along the Miami River
The Miami Circle was discovered in 1998 and built by Native Americans.
Located on Brickell Point, it is an archaeological site located at the mouth of the Miami River in Downtown Miami, Florida.
Its a perfect circle measuring 38 feet (11.5m) across that contains 24 holes or basins cut into the limestone bedrock.
It is believed to have been the location of a structure, built by the Tequesta (also Tekesta) Indians almost 1,700 and 2,000 years ago.
Shooting the cityscape from the top of the MacArthur Causeway after sunset with the Miami skyline in the background.
Met up with a good bunch of friends to catch the sunset over Downtown Miami. The sky cooperated and the laughs were non stop.
