Went down to the Florida keys Friday evening, in the hopes to catch a clear sky for seeing the MilkyWay. But the forecast was not that accurate. There were more clouds than I wanted, but there were breaks in the clouds so I could get some shots. I was taking this particular shot when a meteor fell into the image. Boy, that was something to see – it really made my night.

The morning glow of a sunrise is made up of a combination of things like the clouds having an opening far off in the distance that can light up the underside of the cloud base. The Clouds can’t be a solid mass and the temperature can help as well.
