March Milky Way Over the Big Cypress National Park
One of the last Florida cold fronts of the winter in 2019 brought clear skies and a chance to catch the Milky Way. I got up at 1:30am and was on the road by 2:00am. I met John and Claudia at Kirby Storter Roadside Park at 3:30am. Everyone was shooting in the darkness. This image was strange because I did not see any meteors, but I remember when the camera almost fell over in the darkness. This must have been it. The effect came out interesting.
