A warm summer day, driving home along the beach. An impulse came over me to try to take a quick photo of this beautiful almost private section of the A1A roadway. I saw no one behind me and no cars coming from the opposite direction. Parked on the street, grabbed my camera – ran to the back of my car and took a few shots.

Off the southern coast of Key Biscayne lies a small city of home built on pilings nicknamed Stiltsville. These homes have been built many years ago and no more can ever be built. They are an attraction unto themselves.
