Matheson Hammock, Miami, FL
I took many photos of this morning, each image has it’s own impression to me. The sun had just risen past the clouds between the palm trees and my lens created the slight star effect. In the distance, you can see the cranes of the Port of Miami and the condos of Key Biscayne.

Visited Matheson Hammock over the weekend for a sunrise. The winds were very light making the water have almost a mirror finish. The colorful sunrise, the touch of clouds along the horizon and the the beautiful scenery of the shoreline. Click on an image for a larger view.

Deerfield Beach Pier

I arrived before dawn to take photos of the pier in Deerfield Beach. The lights of the pier gave a yellowish glow and the horizon had a terrific orange-reddish tinge.
The glow of the lights from the pier, cashing reflections upon the shore.
The view from beneath the pier looked so calm and the depth of field through the columns looked endless.
When the sun turned the sky red as the sun climbed from behind the clouds.
The view from these two lounge chairs was spectacular on this day.
Walk along the beach at sunrise and enjoy the colors of the day
Deerfield Beach Pier at Dawn

A calm ocean with virtually no wind. There were no waves and small boats with their lights cruising just offshore. The light of the pier lit up the water with a soft glow.
