Beaches of Hutchinson Island
Hutchinson Island is a barrier island off Stuart, Florida and in both Martin and St. Lucie counties.
The House of Refuge at Gilbert’s Bar in Stuart, Florida
It was an early Saturday morning getting up at 3:00am. I picked up my friend Ivan and drove up to Stuart, FL, to The House of Refuge at Gilbert’s Bar, we arrived at 5am. Sunrise was at 6:30am so we began the almost dangerous task of walking along the limestone jagged beach looking for a place to shoot from in the darkness. On these mornings, it is so dark I cannot see through the view finder. All the setting have to be done manually. It was so dark – I had no clue if these photos would turn out.
Coconut Grove
Sometimes you got to get out of the car and walk when you are in Coconut Grove. There is so much to see that seems hidden was you drive across the city.
