This was my first shot of the day when I arrived at my spot. I just liked the colors of the morning but wanted to see how it looked in Black & White, the stillness of the water and the slight twinkle of the distant lights from the city at Matheson Hammock, Miami, FL

Sunny Isles to Haulover Inlet

This photo was taken from one of the hotels along Collins Avenue looking south. I think I was up around the 14th Floor of this building. The view is from the top of the Sunny Isles fishing pier south to Haulover Inlet. I thought is was amazing to see the shape of the shoreline. Click on the image for a larger view

South Florida Wildlife

  1. Wakodahatchee Wetlands is on 50 acres of unused utility land and transformed into a recreation wetlands open to the public in Delray Beach, Florida
  2. Green Cay Wetlands comprised of a man-made 100-acre wetlands & 1.5-mile boardwalk in Boynton Beach, FL
  3. Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge – a 147,392-acre wildlife sanctuary is located west of Boynton Beach, FL
