The Roosevelt Bridge
The Roosevelt Bridge is a major bridge that stretches across the St. Lucie River in Stuart, Florida. Carrying U.S. Route 1 (Federal Highway; unsigned State Road 5), it was built to supersede the old Roosevelt Bridge, which had twin parallel drawbridges. Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier
I got up before dawn to visit the Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier. Sometimes I do not get the clouds looking right, but not on this day! The clouds lined up just right as the sun rose from the horizon. The colors of the morning exploded as the sun bathed the pier and the beach with a warm glow.
