The Milkyway rose over the dark skies off Islamorada in the Florida Keys. We had to experiment with a flashlight to get the lighting correct.

The sun had set, and I waited with my friend for about an hour for the sky to darken enough to see the amazing Milkyway in the Southwestern sky. That large light just above the horizon was a small plane flying across the sky towards us. Taken: 10-24-2022
