The Barnacle Historic State Park – Coconut Grove

The Barnacle Historic State Park is on a 5-acre track in Coconut Grove, Florida at 3485 Main Highway. The Barnacle was built in 1891 and is the oldest house in its original location in Miami-Dade County. This older home offers a view of the Florida frontier life during turn of the 20th century. There is a beautiful mangrove forest, an old Florida home, an open covered area, a boat house of sorts with a boat dock (not for walking).
