The sun had just come up and I took out my drone to fly along the Tequesta shoreline. The waves had a certain rhythm as they rolled on shore. It was almost mesmerizing as each wave covered the rocks and sand – Tequesta, Florida.

I always wanted to get a shot of the Juno Fishing Pier. This was a good day, it was overcast and hardly any waves. We found an area of moist sand that was packed down to launch our drones. We only fly one at a time with one person being the visual observer and the other operating the drone. It worked out great, but that sun was still very bright when either drone flew in that direction out past the Juno Fishing Pier. We got out shots and landed safely with no problems. I do have my Part 107 license to fly commercially now.

Sunrise Walk on New Year’s Day
Went for a sunrise walk on Hollywood Beach to catch the sunrise. There was hardly anyone about when we got there and enjoyed the cool breeze as we walked the broadwalk.
