Near the entrance of the Upper Antelope Canyon, in Page, Arizona. The canyon walls have an incredible texture from the layers of collected sediment over millions of years and the shapes of the Navajo Sandstone were carved by the flash flooding of the seasonal rains. I think this area is one of the most unusual places on this earth.

The canyons of Page Arizona are beautiful, the colors, textures and shapes can mesmerize any visitor. Walking through some of the canyons can be a challenge to navigate with a backpack full of camera gear and a tripod, but the rewards are well worth it.
